If you have chosen to be a security guard, you will be required to attend a nationally recognised First Aid course (HLTAID011) at a recognised training organisation. This is a standard course that you are required to pass within the workplace, which is also needed to become a qualified security guard in Australia. At Perth Security Services a registered training organisation (RTO), we help aspiring security guards land a stable career in the security industry by making sure that all candidates pass the required training and courses. On successful completion of the PSTA emergency first aid course you will be certified in emergency situation response and emergency first aid.
First Aid is applicable not only in the workplace but also in everyday life. It is the purpose of
the provide first aid course to help individuals handle an emergency, control the incident, and
provide help until authorities arrived. At the completion of the course at PSTA’s HLTAID011, you
